Its straw-yellow hue, touched with rose, shines brightly despite the deliberate turbidity of this unfiltered wine.
The nose quickly reveals power and intensity, both delicate and carried by a vibrant freshness.
On the palate, the aromatic expression expands in perfect continuity — the wine fills the mouth, bursting with notes of peach, pear, and citrus peel.
Long on the finish, its beautiful acidity carries the fruit and lends that rare sense of refreshment and pure pleasure.
It is the wine of lovers — and of great novels.
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION: Clay parcels from Coupe-Roses rich in manganese, situated at 250 m altitude.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Chenin, Vermentino, Viognier, Muscat.
TERROIR: Variegated clay with pink and violet tones, highly calcareous and notoriously difficult to work.
VITICULTURE: Biodynamic and agroecological farming with cover crops, gentle pruning, debudding, vine braiding, and treatments based on plants, herbal teas, fermented extracts, sulfur, essential oils, and just a touch of copper (total over 5 years: 4 kg).
VINIFICATION: No additives — only care and attention.
About 85 % of the wine comes from a direct pressing of sorted, whole-cluster grapes; the remaining part (Muscat, Viognier, Vermentino, and Chenin) undergoes a short maceration at slight underripeness in stoneware jars.
The directly pressed portion ferments in stainless steel, and both components are blended after alcoholic and malolactic fermentations.
AGEING: Stainless steel until spring.
