Data processed and purposes

The website may process data needed to manage orders and deliveries (identity, contact details, address, contents and amount of an order), payments and contact requests, and, with consent, newsletter subscriptions.

Legal basis

Data required for an order is processed to perform the sales contract and comply with the seller’s legal obligations. Newsletter subscriptions are based on the subscriber’s consent.

Payments

When Stripe or PayPal is used, information needed for the transaction is passed to the chosen payment provider. Full payment-card details are not stored in this website’s database.

Recipients

Data is available to authorised Château Coupe-Roses staff and service providers strictly necessary to fulfil orders, including payment, hosting and, where applicable, shipping services.

Retention periods

Data required for orders and invoicing is kept during the business relationship and then archived for the periods required by law, particularly accounting rules. Marketing data is kept during the relationship and generally for up to three years after the last contact or the end of the business relationship.

Cookies and session

In the current version of the website, a technical session cookie is used for the basket, age confirmation and administration. It is not used for advertising. If audience measurement tools or other non-essential trackers are introduced later, this policy and the consent mechanism will need to be updated.
