Gloomy but brilliant vermilion, under its fleshy shell, Le Plôt is rooted in its terroir. This telluric wine is stained of spicies, fugitive red fruit touches, violette flowers, blackcurrant aroma colours, and steals to other places the totemic green pepper aroma. Well filled of delicious tenderness, the architecture is dressed with pageantry which never let the strength be too powerfull, nor going out of the aestethics paths.

 Its a demigod from the wine Pantheon, keeper of the work memory, it reveals the mystery of roots alchimy that humanizes our terroir minerality.

 Terroir : Mountain area in High-Minervois. South/South-West exposed plots. Between 200 and 350m of altitude. Rocky uplands, white limestone, clay-limestone, profound clays.

 Grapes : Syrah, Grenache, A little touch of Carrignan.

 Vinification : Manual harvest, Destemmed, traditionnal fermentation.

 Ageing : Stainless steel tank, 1 year.

 Tasting : Its expression is a blend of power and complex aromatic characters, candied fruits, spicy, pepper and blackcurrant, well filled with a nice acidity that gives it freshness.
