Tasting Notes And Food Pairings

Deep purplish red with intense colour. Aromas of black fruits and fresh, crisp red berries—strawberry, redcurrant, cherry and blackcurrant. The palate opens fresh, with blackcurrant and redcurrant flavours. Rounded, with very supple tannins.

An excellent match for stuffed tomatoes, poultry, raw or cooked vegetables, red meat, roasted butternut squash, charcuterie, fresh or mature cheeses, and fresh fruit. It is equally enjoyable on its own as an aperitif. Best served lightly chilled.
