Wine

Champ du Roy

A blend of several terroirs and grape varieties: a synthesis of our white wines.

Wine details

Discover the wine.

A wine for the counter, for unplanned gatherings, for the celebratory toasts of our republican traditions; a wine for friends, just like its red counterpart, Bastide. It is a friendly wine, both for the pleasure it gives and for its modest price.

Terroir

Predominantly limestone soils with manganese-bearing Coupe-Roses clay. A climate that favours high acidity. Vines at 200–250 m altitude.

Grape Varieties

Grenache Blanc and Gris, Muscat à Petits Grains, Clairette, Vermentino and Viognier.

Vineyard Practices

Organic and agroecological farming, ground cover, gentle pruning, shoot thinning, weaving vine shoots, and treatments based on plants, plant manure, fermented extracts, sulphur, essential oils and a little copper.

Winemaking

Whole-bunch pressing at a maximum of 1.5 bar. Light settling, then fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel.

Ageing

On fine lees in stainless-steel tanks.
